I'm a communications and international development expert with over 13 years of experience working on conflict, governance, human rights, and media issues in Eastern Europe.
During Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, I have led communications and partnership engagement on the ground for major technical assistance programs, designing strategic communications frameworks and campaigns for donor-funded projects, NGOs, and local governments. Since 2019, I have supported development projects financed by USAID, the FCDO, Global Affairs Canada, and European agencies, focusing on recovery, democratic transition, civil society, and independent media.
Earlier in my career, I spent over four years in Ukraine honing my skills in visual storytelling – working as a television newsroom editor and documenting war, social transformation, and political change for international news outlets.
I also bring a decade of experience as a public relations and marketing consultant, applying private-sector communications expertise to development projects.
In 2018-2019, I was awarded a Fulbright research fellowship to study civil society, human rights, and independent media in Ukraine, in affiliation with V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
